Statement by Tony Dimitri Peniche:

The popular thought that someday our civilization will fall apart and we shall revert back to a 3rd world way of life, makes me wonder what will we wear and how will we protect ourselves? Natural fibers and materials will likely be the primary resources in textiles. The colors of the fallen world will seem Grey and bleak with moments of dark red rage. Warm knit sweaters, protective accessories, and leather armor will be my focus, as though the world of high fashion and the fall of civilization have merged into one. I think most humans will simply be trying to stay warm and survive; but then on rare occasions, they will be forced to fight. My collection will resemble a balance between dark warmth and confident protection. -Tony Dimitri Peniche
